Big data technology refers to a technical means. It can obtain valuable information from various types of data.

Cloud computing is a tool. For example, you have a 100 G file. You cannot read into the memory of a computer at one time. Cloud computing can connect several computers. It can handle large files with strong cluster performance. Cloud computing is distributed computing. It solves task distribution and merges calculation results. Cloud computing can be called grid computing. It can process tens of thousands of data. It achieves powerful network services.

The specific differences between the two are as follows:

1. Different purposes. Big data is to explore the value of information. Cloud computing manages resources through the Internet. It provides users with services.

2. Different objects. The object of big data is data. The object of cloud computing is Internet resources and applications.

3. Different backgrounds. The big data lies in the growth of geometric multiples of big data. They are generated by users and all walks of life. The cloud computing lies in the growth of user service demand. The enterprise's ability to process business is important.

4. Different values. The value of big data lies in discovering effective information. Cloud computing can save a lot of use costs.

Big data is equal to a "database". The big data has been developed in a direction. It is similar to the traditional database. The traditional database provides a good guide for it. It ensures the direction and speed of big data.

The overall structure of big data includes three layers. They are data storage, data processing and data analysis. We can store the data through the storage layer. We can establish data model and data analysis index system. They are according to the data requirements and objectives.

We can achieve the timeliness. Parallel computing is important. Distributed computing is essential. Data processing layer provide them. They cooperate with each other. This helps big data produce final value.

Big data and cloud computing must have a phase. Data centers are the foundation of cloud computing. The relationship between big data and cloud computing is closed. We cannot process big data by a computer. We should use distributed architecture.

The feature of big data is obvious. It lies in distributed data digging of massive data. It must rely on cloud computing distributed processing. It relies on distributed database. It relies on cloud storage and other technologies.
